2013. it exceeded all expectations. roskilde festival. mind blown.
it's the mother of all creations.
to talk about the concerts. after the main area opened, the first concert i went to this year was suicidal tendencies. don't remember too much of that one, had no relationship with the band on beforehand. i just couldn't wait until the next concert in line that day - chinese man at the magnificent cosmopol stage.
it is truly such a beautiful compilation of beautiful things. a french hiphop-collective that met all my expectations. i highly recommend their albums Racing with the sun and The groove sessions.
slightly drowsy, really moving and tranquil hiphop that blends the best from different worlds and puts you in a good mood. not to be missed. musical ingenuity.
and then there was animal collective. the two concerts that i went to the first day that i remember the best.

came to arena. saw that the pits in front of the stage had opened and were not full yet. walked in there. prepared to have a fucking blast. and i kind of did. but, the vocals. they sucked. all the instrumental bits were fine. awesome, indeed. but the singer failed us. at least to my opinion. yes, i was tired as hell, hard to fully enjoy the experience without getting too critical. i loved it at times though.
