i hardly know what day today's day is
but. Grand Island is now out on spotify and everywhere else with their album. listened through it this morning, before moving over to department of eagles, and i'll come back with what i thinks later.
it sounds somewhat the same but yet different, more grounded, than their previous boys & brutes. with some awesome guestartist such as janove ottesen (kaizers orchestra) and a personal favorite of mine, steven wilson (superfamily).
this looks o so attractive.
then. my next move was scanning platekompaniet.no for music that seems interesting. scanning and searching, flipping and flapping, flopping about, and after 5 minuites and some restrictions i ended up with a pricetag for 16 various cds..
no less than 1951,50 kr :) MeWantee!
i have a thing for cds, they blow my mind each time i purchase one (or twenty)

including an album by department of eagles i found and just finished listening to at spotify. actually, this really hits the spot. i've just one listen, but i'm glad i found it! reminds me a lot of what i love about grizzly bear and something something more. it has a lot to it. and daniel rossen (of grizzly bear, an amazing guitarist and has vocals from here to trias, plays a part in this beautiful mashuppiece of brilliance represented as a band.
